IELTS Listening Test is the same for IELTS Academic and IELTS General candidates. 

Listening module in IELTS will test your ability to understand different conversations and lectures in English. It will assess how well you recognize the tone and attitude, and purpose of the speaker.

IELTS Listening Test consists of four sections, each with 1 recording. There are ten questions in each recording with 1 mark for each question. You can hear the recording only once. While attempting IELTS Listening practice tests, the questions are designed in such a way that their answers appear in order when the recording is played.
